The Dreamers

Inspired by Goya’s Los CaprichosThe Dreamers represent both the innocent physicality of sleep and the torrid kaleidoscope of dreams. The Dreamers also symbolise the peace of daydreams before the inevitability of life’s realities steals away 'innocence'. Dreams play out like films in our minds, abstractions of stored data, that merge together our hopes and fears.
Jane's sculpture tattoos explore loss through war and other acts of human destruction. Featuring layered Biro drawings often inspired by film stills with resulting images resemble projected layers with abstract patterns.
