Fine English China Collection

Part of In Homage to the Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia series, eight fine English china coupe plates were originally designed by Jane for her solo installation The Woodcutter's Cottage. A dinner plate set made for The Woodcutter, an avatar she created, this body of work celebrates his passion for Eurasian carnivores and his concern for their survival. Paying homage to grey wolves, Amur leopards, Siberian tigers and brown bears, each design contains complex layers of symbolism. The first set of plates was made for the exhibition in Stoke-on-Trent by prestigious ceramic designers and manufacturers The New English.
