A canary is set free from its cage while a wolf and Vanessa Paradis featured in a Chanel advertisement from 1992 remain trapped inside a birdcage. Highlighting the vilification of wolves through fairy tales such as Red Riding Hood which were often the allegories aimed at children and adolescents masking explanations for crimes committed by humans. This has resulted in wolves being persecuted for centuries.
