TV Screen II - Where Wolves and Bears Dare 2009 Tales from the East series colour Biro drawing

Inspired by the Chernobyl disaster, with reference to Discovery Channel documentary Chernobyl: Life in The Dead Zone, and fairy tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears this drawing explores the resurgence of nature, post environmental destruction.  Drawing layers feature a wolf, a bear and feral kitten exploring an abandoned and contaminated cottage, littered with dolls limbs and decaying furniture and structure. Celebrating nature's intrepid ability to overcome and flourish in contaminated environments without human interference.
